Um… the movie isn’t really that much better or worse than the earlier Spider-Man movie. Just different.
The reboot is less melodramatic and the human interactions are more naturalistic. Whereas the earlier Peter Parker was like “I am so broke woe is me” the reboot Peter Parker is more like “I’m growing up and learning life lessons yo”.
More differences:

First Spider-Man movie: Star-cross lovers. But no suicide.

Reboot Spider-Man: Not star-crossed. No epic romance. And, the actors are actually dating in real life.
Closing thoughts
Basically, the reboot is like they simply rehashed the earlier Spider-Man and just moved stuff around. If you liked the first Spider-Man movie then you’ll probably like this. (Though I gotta say the first will likely be rated a little higher and have a little more commercial success.)
And oh yeah, reboot Spider-Man uses Microsoft Bing. Less than 1% of Uberfriendship visitors use Bing. 99% of you guys are smarter than Spider-Man.
