Well that was a solid movie.
Bow and arrow?... Hells yeah!
Hunger Games is about a dystopian society where each district has to send a boy and girl to participate in the hunger games. They fight to the death until there is only one survivor.
I didn’t read the books before so I didn’t come into this movie with preconceived notions about how it should be. (But if you do read the source material for any film… you have to be prepared to be disappointed at any changes that are made to the plot.) The plot was engaging, Jennifer Lawrence is badass as Katniss Everdeen, and the action scenes are exciting. This is no Twilight.
So check it out.
I saw a copy of the book today and it had an advert on the back for the Twilight series, which immediately made me wary, but I’ll wait until I see the movie to judge.
